Oh, those rainy days and how they toy with our frame of mind. I like how you ended with melancholy departing “on the dark steed” though. Thanks for visiting my blog, reading, and leaving several comments. I enjoy it when someone drops in and reads several days of my posts – I envision you sitting there soaking in my words and thoughts and it’s a lovely mental image.

Yes, depression/melancholy is a very common affliction for a lot of people.

merkie, melancholy reminds me of how anyone, especially those with
S.A.D. or other forms of depression can pull us down...all we can do is keep looking up, and as you say, "breathe in the colors"...
