I believe just having the thought is something He hears and feels....the verbage is for us; that release is so healing. Let's pray together this evening, my friend! I will pray for you.

The one that my friend, Lisa, and I found works best is to do all of your crying when you're cleaning a toilet....the salt seems to help...somehow leaning over a commode seems like the appropriate time to weep....!

I admire what you're doing and why...and I'm certain you have some biceps any gal would be envious of!

Thank you, Elyse. Makes me wonder how many of us do that simultaneously. I can only imagine that this is a beautiful thing to a God that's privy to it. Nice to know we are fellow pleaders.

Ah yes, many a time I've cried or just simply 'thought' in my heart prayers to pleading of my Lord. This is so lovely in its intent ~ Have a blessed day ~ Elyse

That says a lot about who you are; that you would view the poem that way. Sounds like your persuasion is toward thoughts on Him, as well. Aren't we fortunate to know where we can turn when there's no where else to turn. I need to learn to do that in the first place, not the last place! Thank you Bill!

Merkie...isn't that the truth...it's like shivering till your lips turn blue before reaching for that down-filled parka...

We're silly creatures; I think that's why! We'd rather wallow in it in general than to just 'connect' and feel better...ah, humans....gotta love 'em.

I love this, we don't why until we have the experience and then the questioning comes to the forefront! Wonderful for it got my mind turning and that is what I love about a stimulating poem! sam

Hello Darson
The ending was delightful, .... why did I take so long to feel happy, as if with the dawning of a realization the regret speaks out for itself and not so much the poet. Simply loved it

I feel that way, too. I could be driving down the road in the middle of rush hour and He'd still hear me...pretty nice.
