new knowledge take a while
to become new skill... give it time and you will make the new tips your own and then you will be brilliance incarnate

Give it time… perhaps you will become brilliance itself.

You play the game to drive yourself insane! It is a complicated game, indeed! I watch Tiger Woods and his club knowledge for situations is mind boggling! I really don't know why anyone subjects themselves to the ups and downs of the game! But have fun with it! sam

Rocking
You described it just as I would after every time I try.

I think it's great you are wanting to play golf.  I really would like to know this sport, however, I'm good one minute, bad the next 17 holes ---  --- really, I do think it's a wonderful sport bringing one to the outdoors and great exercise and it 'can' be peaceful ~ Sorry it rained on y'alls parade ~ but, it did sound like you gleaned the best of it all, family/friends ~ Elyse

Because you play against your own game of course.
and it's exercise and you have fun and I think you need a holiday sweet one. Come see me and I 'll smooth away all your fears while the snow piles around the house. Oh and Mr. Graysome would love the company.

You just have to put what the pro suggested into practice. It's tough and takes time, but I bet you can do it.

If you are like me, t's because of the brilliant days.  The days where it all comes together; the weather, the game, the solitude, and the challenge to improve!
