Ha ha ha shall we all wear our jammie pants on a designated day? I'll stay home, of course....the general public can't handle another sighting of me in that condition! Thank you, Elyse!

One more comment, if you will, Vogue...what would you wear it with? Just curious....I think these are just screaming for some little black dress, or maybe a turkish-style white linen dress? Just wondering...that's what I'd put with it! Oh great, now I'm going to have to go jewelry shopping....!...and maybe dress shopping, too.....

Ha ha ha...nope. But the Jammie Pant experience is just like all of my other mortifications....WRITING MATERIAL! "It's all material", has become one of my favorite expressions. Due to the fact that people are funny (myself definitely included!) I'll always have something to write about. Fantastic to know I'm 'charming' (love that word) whilst I'm writing it. Have a lovely day, my friend!

WOWEE!!! Those are very unique pieces. No wonder they caught both your eye (s)? I've never seen a necklace like that before; I'm sure I would have stopped, too. And the added bonus of the conversation you had whilst jewelry gazing....priceless. Thanks, Vogue! You made my day.

Thanks for your comment. Your wish is my command. I can certainly swing a picture of that heavy piece of gold. Here it is for you:

See, it's an entire set and the price, if you are interested is approx. $2500. But it's 22 carat and of course hand crafted.

Honestly, you are a most charming writer in your blondie pink pajama pants, Darson. Didn't your friend Nan tell you that?

In-deed! And yes, it is comforting to know that I'm not alone. I love the color red so that would have been even better....! Perhaps not at Macy's among soon-to-be ex in-laws...then they would've been telling another tale (he left her because of her provocative dressing style in public, etc, etc)! That's just fabulous! And good for you!

LOL - trust friends to pull one on ya! Because they know you so well, they are able to choose the perfect situation to make you squirm. Great post...I'm still grinning.

I laughed my, well, pants of when reading this post. If it's any kind of comfort to you: I was one forced by "circumstanes" to take refuge in a 5 star hotel, dressed in a red silk pajama and red slippers. When I, all flustered, ran in the door, a very posh and cute man came out, held the door open for me and breathed: now
that's fashionable. So, you see, it's all a question of attitude. What's a pair of pink pants among friends.

...it was years ago and I actually gave them away! My daughter has some that would rival them, though...perhaps I'll persuade her to post a pic of them...it will have to be, of course, in the form of a bribe....!
