I think I have resigned myself to believing some things cannot be! But this is incredulous perception through questioning and observation! And I say touche! If you read this comment before the first one I left think EARTH!!!! You will see my darlin' Sinome or you will already know! Your poem has me vacillating and I like that! xoxoxoxo

"all those who walk dead among the living"...Sinome this line reminds me so

much of the people I work with..some days they "appear" to be dead - living but lifeless...

But then on other days they have more life than I do, regardless of wthat might be happeneing in their lives...

And in both instances, I ask "Why?".....

Sinome

I thought I had left a comment in here – it was along the lines of what both Naut and Taps said… life is a series of yin and yangs.

Sinome
It's those questions that are important, with so many possible answers. Great poem luv

I guess that if everything was always beautiful and right, we wouldn't even know it because there would be nothing with which to compare it.  And, I'm afraid the joy would be quite lessened in the not knowing.

Sinome
Without night we wouldn't know day, without pain we wouldn't know joy, without death there would be no life...

beautiful poem, dear.
but try swapping the perspective...  how marvellous that beauty can bloom, if only for a moment, how wonderful that things may live and how miraculous that we may grow to see the beauty around us and realise how gorgeous life can be.

Lusterlove said the same, that the link didn't work. Just type in: www.abyssandapex.com/guidelines.html. That's the paying one for short stories and poetry.

Beautifull Sinoke! I used to be-one of those 'dead people'-walking
amongst the living-years ago! I'm so thankfull-that I have found-(eventually)-my Soul! Without it-I would have remained as I was! God bless. Chris.

When someone so sensitive sees the whole picture ~ the passion can carry them (us) away and this is as ecstasy - a cry out for all, from a heart that carries a key, as Kabu says, we pass this way but once - thank you Sinome for your treasure here ~

Your poem reminds me of a butterfly - in all its stages ~  ~ xoxox Elyse

Aah how beautiful and important it is to live the moment. This is especially true in enjoying the lives of children while they’re young  love.  BC-A, Bill’s RJLst

The soulful longing of a tender heart that sees beauty and wishes others to partake of it, but alas! the world is so devoid of innocence that hearts are no longer receptive. Wonderful musings, Marta -:) xoxoxo.
