Well you sure do your research luv and I never knew a Pope got involved. Happily we will have only one family of three from next door with their little boy Jordan who will come for 'treats.' Living in the boonies is great.

Betty - Funny thing is, it has caught on here as well..just yesterday, my daughter got invited to a halloween party and is into getting her costume organized! Well as you say, so much for globalization. Have a pleasant day too.

Yep, in my country too, we have nothing to do with halloween, we only read about it and watch it on movies, but believe it or not, halloween merchandising and customs are available everywhere in our stores! (and i'm guessing they make sales too!)

Since my kids are suppose to be grown up I really cant get into Halloween, I prefer to turn off the lights and not answer the door.  My dogs will go nuts and this is the first Halloween since we moved here
