careful what we ask for
So true, all of this. It's all a part of the "careful what you ask for" game. Sooner or later the 49% opposed to the so-called "majority" of the 51% wake up and go, "wait a minute... what were those rules again?" and the scale begins to teeter precariously the other way. Why not just abandon the scale completely and head for more solid ground?
I always did wonder what the point of paper currency was. It just doesn't make any sense. Here, you give me this thing and I'll give you this piece of paper in return for it. It's all about ownership I guess, and then the fulfillment of having something in the transient, and the freedom of letting it go when its time is through, gets lost.

Hi Darson!
...interesting points ...the rebels usually are out numbered at least 3 to 1 ...and sometimes they win ...especially when people reach a point where they have nothing else to lose ...that is the most dangerous enemy of all ...thanks for dropping by and for your input.

There are a heck of a lot more of US than there are of THEM. We don't have to let the minority rule. The thought is that we're helpless but I don't believe that for a minute...just put all the hormonal women together in one group and set them loose...WWIII wouldn't even begin to describe it...that group alone could take care of the problem. Bureaucrats would run, seeking shelter.
