Rolling thunder. I can't even explain what the sound does to me. It isn't just the sound, but the whole atmosphere that goes with it--the color of the sky, the heaviness of the air, the silence of everything else, the suggested force of the advancing storm.

Oh this is a beautifully sad poem. Your pen brings out those sad lines to be washed out of your knowning by the soft and beautiful rain. Let them go with the rain!
