Glad you're enjoying yourself! Hope your husband is feeling better...renal colic is terrible, I've had it a couple of times, and am taking all kinds of (traditional medicine) concoctions to get rid of the stone! Thanks very much for your visits! Nita.

Good food and flowers - sounds like a perfect autumn day.  I hope your husband feels better and better and the stone passes without incident....Mal

What a wonderful day
I'm planting roses too.  Instead of flowers for Richard's coffin I ought potted roses for each of us and I'm making a rose garden to remember him always when I walk out my front door.  Not that I would ever forget.  Richard used to grow prize winning roses when he lived in Texas.

Looks like retirement is treating you both well.

Hey, but this initial post-retirement phase doesn't last. There's ever so
much you find yourself in the middle of soon that you wonder whether you are really retired.

I'm glad you're enjoying your retirement; it's the equivalent of being reborn IMO. However I am sorry to hear about Ed's health problems, I do hope he goes on feeling better. Have a nice weekend. Thanks for your visit. I've started to get really enthusiastic about monuments and their stories.

I hope he is pouring down lots and lots and LOTS of water!
It is not only good for the whole body, it also makes passing a stone a whole lot easier when there is a high tide,so to speak, to wash it on out.
