Merkie - this is so beautiful. Charity does begin at home with love, faith and hope.

yes I think it is really sad when people spend so much time energy and
money outside of their own family needs that their children suffer mental auguish and grow up a right royal mess.

Charity begins at home which is in the heart which is me.
I guess that sums up what you are saying?

I love this! It is so apt! I like my house to be orderly! Although I have got away from themed roomed, with the exception of the den! Have a great evening! sam/Shelly

What a grand Song of Love to revisit and revisit again and again. My wedding vows had the Corinthian's agape verses of Faith, Hope and Love ~ It is a cornerstone in my home. I pray it always finds me --- my heart, my home --- comfy and welcoming ~ This was a Great and blessed blog. Thank you Merkie

This reminds me so much of my mother playing "
Home Sweet Home" on her harmonica at our bedtime:
"Mid pleasures and palaces,
though we may roam,
Be it ever so humble,
there's no place like home...."
