I once was told by a Professional to say I was 'pissed off' instead of angry --- LOL...I just simply have a hard time with it ~

I think of dogs and carpet when I think of that word - or toilets --- what else? Elyse

I told my brother once that I was 'pissed off' and that pissed him off to the extent that he did not speak to me for a week.

Since then I've been very careful.....

The Brits use the word to describe someone who is drunk. And now you know about a butterfly museum. Thanks for your interest.

I agree with FormerStudentIntern ...
I think, "Boy, that really "pissed me off," which has been my near perpetual state for the past year ... but I never feel pissed off when I am on Blogit.com. It is my refuge from pissedoffedness.

No, I don't think about me when I hear the word.

I think of it more as being in the "pissed off" sense where one is mad at someone else.

It's a good word, crude but not too crude and expressive.....and can as you
say be used in different ways. I am quite capable when annoyed to suggest that my annoyance piss off and leave me alone. lol
