What a sad ending to your tale. But what a good life your cats had, and how much you have all enjoyed them.

Awww, Malcolm...

I'm so sorry for the losses of Pippin and Toggy.  I know how sad you and your family must feel right now.  I lost my sweet Meeko (named after the racoon character from Disney's Pocahantas) three years ago this February to come, and Roommie and I still find ourselves looking for him now and again and wanting to offer him some yogurt or a tiny piece of cheese or his all-time favourite, a doughnut.

But yes, you are right...Pippin and Toggy are together again now, chasing each other and having a grand time.  They'll always be looking after your family.  And who knows?  Maybe they've even made friends with my Meeko...

I am so sorry! I hadn't considered an unhappy ending! But they are together again! Pleasant thought, too! sam

Sorry to hear of your loss. You must be feeling sad today! Pets are family members too.

I'm so sorry that you lost such a good friend
I'm Sorrybut it sounds like you all had some really happy times.  When my Gray died,  Gracie would walk through the house with this pitiful mournful cry and would sit outside in their tree for days.  I'm sure they are happy together now.  Many Blessings.

...the joy that they bring is equal to the sorrow of their loss...but, as you say, there is no doubt that they are with you in spirit..moon

What a lovely tribute to your dear animal family members It's tough
WHen they die.I had my Burmese cat Frangipani for almost 20 years and I missed her so much and still think about her always . Mr. Graysome is young healthy fullof wicked fun and he has his very own corner of my heart. He belongs with chipmunks birds and squirrels in this new and wonderful life of mine. Oh and I believe there is place for animals in the spirit world too.If I can;t feel comfortable without an animal around in this life, how would I cope forever without my babies. I agree with OTA this is a sad but comforting post.
