Well, happy 40th to your daughter.
It's a bright sunny day over here...
On my 40th it was arranged by a friend as a surprise when I lived in Benicia, that I was invited to be part of a crew in a sailing race on the Carqinez Strait in Northern California. A wonderful experience.

40 years ago and now...
Well, that sounds pretty interesting. Maybe 40 years from now when she turns 80, it's the same sort of weather. ;)
