Yeah, Taps, I wondered about that, too...because I don't think that
I myself would want to read about cleaning a dumb old house....I guess it wound up about much more than just cleaning, to my surprise...the reasons that it got that way in the first place run pretty deep. Maybe this is more about healing and the house is coming along for the ride...thank goodness....this place was a wreck! Ha ha ha thanks for reading and I love it that you're playing along! That has probably been the best part....that was unexpected, as well, but I LOVE IT! Big FlyLady Hugs to you, Sister!

Wow, skye, that is such a good way to put it...forgiving silently so I don't have to come back and live with them again...yes, that's exactly it. Because whenever I got close, I got bit. I will keep trying to be gracious, because we all have to live near each other...but I don't need to try the experiment over and over when it's not working. Perhaps a little card every now and then...something where she can't snap back immediately...hmmm, your post has gotten the brain matter going this morning...Thank YOu!!!

I can't believe I'm reading about house cleaning every day.
I think you could make any subject at all interesting. LOL

I do the Flylady too but
not so diligently as you but I do try. I've got the bathroom down. I don't get so overwhelmed with it all now. It helps to plan the amount of time to dedicate to the clutter. I can't believe someone would actually edit you. Some people you can't befriend but have to forgive silently so you don't have to come back and live with them again.

Elyse!
You make me laugh! Right out loud! I will call her tomorrow and see if we're still friends...and spill the beans about what happened. I really did think she and Trudy were friendly; and figured it would be much more appropriate for her to sing Trudy's praises, versus me...Poor Sister #2! Yeah, she's getting flowers for sure. Hugs to you, Elyse!

Well first I want to say, My goodness, may I come and see this vision of organization and cleanliness so I may enjoy --- as my house is crying right now for this --- and I simply don't have the patience to do it all. You are a saint dear Lady ~ and secondly, ohkay you did it, you made me laugh --- can I buy a vowel?? LOL ~ You're too cute to me Darson - but seriously - poor angel that you have to worry 'bout the in-laws and family dynamics and all that can come and bite you in the bum ~ As Kabu said, just call her and spill your lucky - I mean your blessings of joy upon her.

gotta love Darson ~ Elyse does

Kabu
Yep. I think you're right there, Kabu. I will call her tomorrow and tell her what happened...and apologize, too!

Trudy sounds like a dog.Ring the sister and beg, grovel and scrape.
I find no matter what telling the truth along with some major apologising is better than hiding under the bed.....and upsetting the husband
