I just read about the bridge problem in England! I thought of my country and how we are in the same situation! Aging bridges are so scary! sam

You are wise to do the Christmas shopping and wrapping early.  I always put it off way too long and then get rushed at the last minute.

Ah yes Malcolm, does a person good to 'give' --- I believe this ~ nothing more I like than to browse and when I spot what I see that makes me think of others, it's when I find the most cheer ~ and yes, you're wise to get this done early  ~ Santa is always the best surprise. Elyse

Malcom
You spent your Saturday in satisfaction. Have many pleasant more. Enjoy your salmon. Ikea’s in our city too. BC-A, Bill’s RJLst

I love your posts too Malcolm. And I love shopping in Ikea. I think their furniture is made to fit every corner of a room and has a distinct style. They tend to use up space most efficiently. Did the presents come with a year long list? And do have that wine - I believe the two of you deserve it after the shopping for presents more importantly..lol.

Malcolm
I love your posts and sharing of family life my friend, and we love Ikea as well and our drive is to Ottawa an hour and a half east of us. I'd love to see that bridge you drive on. Have a good weekend my friend.

I agree, Malcolm.  It's best to get the wrapping done as soon as possible.  It sounds as if you and Susan made a killing and had a lovely day!

It seems half the world is indebted to IKEA! We have them of course over here. Having two left hands I avoid it like the plague.

Thanks for visiting. Enjoy your peaceful evening with wine and x-factor.
