Very exciting! One thing that struck me is that as Rostock had just been bombed, it would not appear as a dark city; wouldn't you also be able to see the fires ranging in bombed out buildings?
Please do not keep us on tenterhooks too long!

Good going, the team is down, their debris concealed...
I don't know if the term "plausible deniability" had been coined at the time of this story, but I'm wondering if the resistance and the team would introduce themselves and use their real names. These guys know there's always a chance they could be intercepted, or the home team could be captured. People talk under torture. Maybe code names, or just a handshake.
