We always buy a real Christmas tree. My father and I would much prefer an artificial one because of the mess factor.
As far as the ornaments go, yeah, we have some traditional ornaments we put up.

I miss having a big christmas tree
growing up I remember this one ornament. It was from Poland where my dads parents were from. It was big and very pretty. When I reached my 20's someone dropped it and it broke. We had to throw it away. 
I'll never forget it though.

What fun! I have an artificial tree, too! My daughter is coming next week to decorate as well! I can't wait! I just love those special moments we share with our daughters, puts life in perspective and makes it a bit sweeter! sam
