This happened eleven years ago, now...but every sweet corn season I remember when I'm biting into that first ear of corn. A HUGE message from God that I'll never forget....the lesson being...that I'm not invisible...and that He KNOWS me, and loves me.

Thank you for sharing this. I'd never supposed, before that point, that even the tiniest of thoughts are seen or heard by Him. Now I believe that, too. Going even beyond prayer....He knows it ALL.

You have no idea how timely and appreciated your comments and compliments are. I just had an editor of a magazine say that she wanted to publish my work, but her complaint was that it was too 'conversational' and 'confessional'...I've been toying with a cooler tone, but in my heart I'm resisting. This is who I am. If that means I never publish one more thing; so be it. Thank you for giving me added gift of conviction in this.
