As always, I enjoy hearing about your doings, as well as the pictures, though it's unfortunate that this teaching job is not what you probably hoped it to be.

My daughter-in-law was saying the same thing - Japan is feeling the recession as much, if not more, than we are in North America. She lives here in Canada, but her family are all in Japan. They are such a shy people - I can picture the girl getting embarrassed. It is unfortunate that the teaching is not working out, but everything happens for a reason. Maybe your book of short stories will be the reason?

I never thought to read of slalry cuts in Japan. For so long it was the
country that was flying. Yes if you can, finish up the work and write write write.

It can be trying but many the world over are experiencing the same! It doesn't make it easier,, though! How sad that wages go down! So good to hear from you! I am happy to learn of the short stories for you know I am one of your biggest fans! I love you point of view, too, lol! sam

Japanese loved their own language.
English maybe not included in their school curriculum.
