Elyse!
...I think it's because deep down, we're all so much alike. I'm glad if I touch someone's heart! That makes me very happy! Thanks, Elyse! Hugs to you on this snowy morning.

I love this - such admiration for the older sister - I had that as well ~ It's like chemistry or something, the attraction to that bond. Your post here reminds me of how grand and yet complex youth was - brought me back to some wallflower daze and how I would so want to join in but, shyly would just sit back admiring - and the secrets of crush at overnight stays - all this brought waves of nostalgia and goodly so. Darson, you're such a keen writer, how do you touch my heart so much? xoxo Elyse

Yep, same here. We get along fine; even though Lauren's still bossy....! Guess you never get over being the 'oldest'!

...it takes a lot of energy to be young...guess that's why the young people have it...the emotional tumult of simply reading that exhausted me...i cannot imagine living it...well...not at my age...maybe in my next life...hahahahahaha.... moon

...Ain't that the truth! Funny, though, the guys come into your life and go out of your life (but the good ones stick around!) but sisters and friends are forever. We didn't know that when we were fourteen.

.....Ohhhhhh! Heartbreak! Larry's loss, that's for certain! Let's have a moment of silence for the poor chap. He didn't know what he was missing.

I get the best feeling in the world when you say hi or even smile at me because I know, even if its just for a second, that I've crossed your mind.

That's the way I felt about Larry when I was 14 and he was 17--and then he got a steady girl and it wasn't me.
