Great post, Darson. You have such a way of making one laugh, even while sympathizing with you! Just gotta put it all where it belongs!

...Oooops...read the comment below and you'll see just how well I've accepted my hair, Tzippy. I only accept what I can't change...and I found a way around this one...! PS did the egg in the hair rinse out? I've heard horror stories about that method, gone awry! THAT would be bad...!

I just bought some of those human hair extensions (blonde ones). you pop them in with a few little combs and voila! Thick, luxurious hair. If it's good enough for the stars, it's good enough for me!!! If you can't grow it...BUY it. It looks amazing. I was in awe of those that can grow it like that....wow, I'm jealous. Thanks for sharing!

hair lol
nobody is happy with what they have, if you have a bunch of hair you complain that THere is nothing you can do with it, if you have thin hair you complain as well. I have tried washing my hair with beer because i was told it makes it shiney, I tried washing it with eggs because I was told it makes it healthy lol, boy every girl has hair stories, but yours, you tell it so well, and in the end you accept it for what it is, IT IS JUST HAIR

Lol...You've done it to me again, Darson. I'm in stitches over here! My poor Roommie has really thin hair, too, so I'm always offering to have a wig made for her from mine. If you like, next time I have it chopped off, I'll send you bunches of it.
You're of German ancestry, aren't you? I have to say I find it odd that you have such thin hair. There again, perhaps it could well be the region of Germany that your family came from.
Me, I have my Oma's and Dad's THICK hair and I HATE IT! I can't do anything with it!
Your hair colouring stories remind me of something that happened to a cousin of mine long ago, but that's a story for another time...
Every time I have the hair chopped off, so long as it's long enough, I donate it to locks of love, the organisation that provides wigs for children with cancer.

I can't think of what to suggest to make hair grow, you know why? Because, I have always wanted to get rid of them from my hirsutie frame. Won't they become scarce when I grow old?

Darson, I'd give you some of my hair if I had any spare ones I could part
with, but that old stress thingy has done a number on me along with heredity...and when I was a kid, I used to be blond..

..oh well, you know what they say: "Hair today, gone tomorrow."...

Elyse!
Awww....! Tried Rogaine years ago, but can always give it another shot. It's the breaking off that's the problem, too. I have whimpy hair. When it's happy it grows and grows; It was down to my waist right after I had my daughter! What happened???

"That's how the first bi-level in town happened...."
YOU had me there...I almost couldn't finish reading Darson ~ stop ---- with all this thrown in --- the hemp - the 'eyebrows'

--- and the part about the white hair, that's truth - undue stress can make it happen (I had a skunks streak by the time I was 28--- and finally the whole white is coming throughout ---) I say get some Rogaine - I lost hair in the front one time - it was after a hairdresser dyed my hair an eggplant color (I'm fair ---it looked
beezaro; come to find out she was high and LOL, she had mixed too much of this and that...) and one day, clumps fell out in the front --- how awful - bought Rogaine and voila within a month - already growing and I've not had a problem since. You are a darlin' and how you make me giggle -

-

--- why you just bring out emotions in me - but it always begins with a giggle and leaves out with one. Thank you Darson for your excellent accounts - they're told perfectly. Love this blog - all your blogs ~ Elyse xoxox

Tell me about that pill...I've suspected thyroid stuff. And I'm always cold. I'd gladly take a pill than mix up any more herbal crud.

Hopefully you'll find a remedy that works...My sister's been blessed with a ton of hair. Right now it's halfway down her back (she's 5 foot 5).

My hair went thin as I got older, partly due to low thyroid.
Hypothyroid problems also slow metabolism, make you feel chilled, dry skin. The thing with slow metabolism is easy accumulation of fat. So I take the pill daily, the hair is at least normal. And the fat... well, it's stubborn.
