So...the 'two-fingered' petting is in order? I understand about the messes...I'm not a big fan of fur getting up my nose.

I'm with your mom, these days.
We had a toy Manchester named Inky when we were kids, and a number of others as my own kids grew up. These days I don't want something that barks, makes disgusting messes or trips me on the way to the bathroom.

I must've been one of those moms, because TJ always gets called 'Jordan'....and, truth be told, that was GOING to be his name, originally, until we changed our minds. Now our second oldest, Jordan, is a true Jordan...but I wonder if I missed it with TJ's name. I have the same mental block with men named 'Tim'....don't know why. I usually wind up calling them 'Mike'.

Elyse!
Wow, maybe we could start a Dog Smilers club...or a yearly calendar of smiling dogs...now wouldn't THAT be funny! Snookums is long since departed, but I'm sure there are more smilers out there to be had.

LOL, oh but you do bring such laughter and joy and plain warmth to my heart Darson. Write on - I just can't get through a day without reading of you and your antics and your wonderful accounts no matter - always --- and I have a dog who smiles too - At first I thought she was snarling - but oh my it's a conversation carrier - LOL - ~ Elyse
