Guy, hey, don't turn the light off just yet...Blogit seems to go in cycles
and I agree with Sinome, people right now have to pinch every penny to make ends meet, but hopefully things will settle down in 2010...
I'm glad I paid a year in advance or I'd likely be saying "so long", too, but I'm not....
Don't you even think of leaving..

You are a wonderful writer. It's a shame we can't get paid a little more money. When I think about it, there are thousands of wonderful writers out there who we have to compete with when writing and sending material in to try and get published. I have gotten a few rejection notices myself and sometimes I want to give up, but then I think, how, "Gone With The Wind" was turned down 13 times before it was published, so don't give up hope. God has given you a talent for writing and one day your ship will come in. Keep up the good work!

Remember that slogan: "Its the economy @$#%@#" Well... I think it is... people are busier trying to make a dollar and making ends meet and the extra time it takes to read and comment is what one uses to write, because writing as you so aptly put it is a "burning desire" and one must write. I try to read as much as I can... but since I am not fond of leaving emoticons alone , it becomes very hard to comment appropiatedly to the most times wonderful things I read so feeling guilty I just read and run. Please don't feel bad and keep writing... You are super talented and your writes are always entertaining and funny :-) Take care of you xoxoxo

This is a great write ..so true. I too write of dreams that may not come true..LOL here. My form of escapism and visualizing it as dreams turning into reality.

Guilty as suggested, I am addicted. I wish there were more men
bloging. They bring a special dimension to the site, I'm not going into this further because someone will think that I am sexist but for me it would be awful if it just becam a girlie club.I love it, blogit, that is perhaps it it will run its course but only if we stop writing and reading.
ps. I have never made any money from blogit....try paying with Ausie dollars. like I do.bit that's OK I met Wiley here.
