3 inches is very respectable
we don't usually get this amount of snow. It is usually 1-3 inches in the lower elevations and more in the higher elevations. The last time we got this much snow was the Blizzard of 1993. We were stuck in the house for a week with no power. The roads were totally impassable. When I lived in Charleston, SC, just a snowflake threw everything into chaos. Drive careful and be safe.

Snow is so much fun. Are you sure you don't want 300 cats to enjoy it with you? LOL
If your congregation doesn't show, you could preach to the cats.
Can you imagine 300 cats singing?

The Baltimore Metropolitan Area is thrown into chaos when a snow flake appears. At least we have good reason with the amount of snow you read in my blog today.

We are suffering from snow too at present. Our public transport seizes up after the first couple of inches. Hope you keep warm and avoid slipping on your way to church tomorrow.

Rocking
Hope you make it up the lane and that there are at least a few people in the congregation who "weather" the weather.

I grew up in the snow world
and escaped it to a land that see NO snow, and although the snow looks beautiful on the first day, if I never see snow again I shall rejoice, and here there is no snow Thank God, but please be careful driving on the ice.

A first snowfall ~ and I know you will drive slowly - safely as you go to your parishioners. I imagine the excitement and the beauty as well. ~ Elyse

I must confess
though it inconveniences, and eventually turns to ugly slush, I do love snow!
