That is an unusual family
I admire their strength of heart and spirit, with their forgiveness maybe the driver will one day find their own

It has always been a dread of mine since first learning to drive, that I might one day hurt someone with my driving.  I can imagine this driver's torment over this.  The family suffers the loss of their loved one, they embrace one another in faith and sorrow, forgiveness and acceptance...  The sympathy of the world is with them.

The driver presumeably has none of that... I applaud his courage in coming forward, and I hope he can forgive himself in days to come.  It is likely he will be the last to do so.

I am still praying for the family they have been so brave and have kept
their eyes on God in a most inspiring way. Thank you for sharing their experience with us. May they find peace in the new Year.

It's astonishing how much fortitude people show in situations like that. They must be a very, very generously minded family to make such a declaration. The hit and run man will find it next to impossible to shed the guilt. Thanks for sharing this and thank you for your very kind comment on my blog.
A very happy new year to you and your family.
