- Go to Cook Daydreams A Year
I have a lifelong fascination with Pan and his unsightly yet vital Nature..
And with myths and sauces in general - what lurks beneath that heavenly hollandaise?...:)
Thank you so much Sinome, The Saint, Magic Moon and Sam!

Yes, indeed! A marvelous dish to savor the imagery but the saucy meaning intrigued me most! Is is an illusion, or... Well, done, touche! Loved how this came together! sam

Wonderful LizaM I loved it! Your poems are truly a treat to read... I love the comparisons and the "
Expression à double sens"...not to mention this one made me a little hungry :-) Happy New Year to you too :-) xoxoxo

Daydreams
Yes, I like it because you are working your way through things that are difficult to describe. This may not be right and it's only my opinion. I can say nicer things?

great poem
thanks for posting your christmas feelings on my remarks, that was sooooo sweet. But as for your feelings of christmas, I see it differently than you.. From what you described christmas has brought warmth, love, and great moments of childhood memories which is soo soo important, If i were you I would love christmas and make of it today what it was than, a warm and loving few moments in time. If your parents did not get divorced perhaps you would have been singing christmas songs for your children at bedtime. If i were you I would make christmas a warm and loving time for me and my family, and bring forth my childhood warmth, and the hell with what everybody else is doing. Very interesting....but I'm picturing that as cooking outside over a wood fire with a cauldron hanging over the fire and I'm shivering because it is so cold and an icicle is hanging from my nose.
