It pains me that drastic measures would be taken against a person's right to free speech. If someone doesn't like what another says write a rebuttal. All this does is to make it more difficult on people what just want to love and praise God. I am happy there are members of the faith speaking out for I have never believed it was representational of the group but terrorists at work. It is a rough way to start the new year. I went to leave a comment earlier and I initially had canceled my subscription to Blogit then I thought I had re-scribed but alas it was not. So I had to go sign up and then post my comment. It just gives an unsettled aura when free speech is not accepted without the threat of dire consequences. Have a blessed day! Shelly

Re: Nautikos
Dear Nautikos, yes of course I knew the attempted murder would hit world headlines. However I knew for sure that the press release from the moderate Muslim groups would at the best be noted in a tiny footnote on the back page. When I revisited 'Politiken' yesterday evening the article about the press release had disappeared from the front page and there was not a link to be seen. As I already had the link, I could of course find it...Thanks for visiting and have a nice day.

Re: Taps Danish
Dear Taps, sometimes I wish that that was the only thing we were known for out in the wild and terrifying world....
Thanks for visiting.

Yes, of course we have heard of this attempted murder. And it's good to know that moderate Muslim groups in Denmark are speaking out against it. However, it would be gratifying if their voices were heard continuously, against
all forms of Islamo-Fascism...

Such an unfortunate situation. I'm surprised it took this long though for that type of retaliation.

Re: adnohr
Yes, exactly adnohr, this is what people will think. There's a bitter debate going on on a DAnish site where I still sometimes blog and the same gereralizations crop up over and over again. It's depressing. THanks for visiting.

Unfortunately, that is exactly what many people WILL think, Elinjo. Generalizing is dangerous, but very visible.

I guess madness is contagious. And some soreheads just never
forget an imagined insult. I think this attitude, this urge to hate and retaliate, is one effect of overcrowding on this world. We all feel more pressure, have less patience, are quicker to fly off the handle. Sheesh!
