Yes... yo do sound less stressed and happier.  I remember shifting gears myself from employee to consultant and I found it quite empowering to have my employer of 18 years become one of my clients.

It sounds as if the change is really good for you.  That's wonderful. I wish we had a little tea room around here somewhere, but it's all Starbucks coffee.  I like coffee but a tea room has such a different ambiance.
