How interesting..something different and you summed it up so well. Thank you for the visit and I would love to talk about the sun but it's still raining here, I shall do so anyway...I can imagine the cold of the snow though.

What a contrast from beginning to end! I love this because my state produces 28% of the potatoes consumed in the U.S. and it brought back memories of picking strawberries and for extra bucks when I was a teenager! But the loss at the end of the poem summed it up perfectly! sam

Potato pickers
So very hard when life is filled with hardships and low pay even though your heart is willing Sometimes the sole hurts with the pride of being strong..What would we do without Potatoes..The Starch of the Earth..Wonderful story poem ans true..Lv Fememefeme
