What a difference it makes when you have less worry. Lovely that your Dad could be cool with Josh not being there - because now it's largely someone else's problem.

I really like the way that you and your dad work together and how you communicate.
It's great that you can do that. Many father/son relationships are not as compatible.

I must say that your Dad is a very good employer and I don't blame him for finally getting tired of what seems like being taken for granted. I'm glad you're there for him FSI ~ I truly find such respect for your Dad when you write. I admire that. Elyse

Seems like the guy knows his worth...and is milking it for all it's worth! Wish I had the nerve to do the same. On second thought, nah, I don't wish that. I like being dependable, for the most part. This is an interesting saga.

I think it would have been better had Josh scheduled the cruise when it is not as busy! It is good that it worked out the way it did! How very cool to get to a playoff game! sam

a very interesting post my young friend. Trouble at work avoided by the
weather. I must say that if Dad bought the vehicle and gave it to Josh the man did owe your Dad a decent loyalty. Thought provoking post about the work force. Thank you.
