Re: chuc
J K My church added an electric piano. We remodeled the choir loft and changed the position of the pews for the choir. The choir director used to watch the service in a rear mirror on the organ. Now it’s positioned sideways so he can look down. He orders a variety of hymns for the services throughout the church year. 201KBC-A, Bill’s RJLst

Great way to spend an afternoon
I like to think I'm quite good with web technology but have to rely on Ivan to handle any iTunes activity and Christian for any mobile 'phone stuff!

Congratulations on Declaring You Freedom! LOL
I like you have come to a point that it is what I like that counts. I would not be critical of others because they have the same privilege. My tastes in music are very wide. Thank you for visiting my blog. Our services at church were very good as well. I spoke on the topic: Living in the Face of Disaster! Keep Looking Up! Dan

rector, I'll have to look that one up and listen to it...I enjoy all kinds
of music except for opera (maybe if they sang it in English, it would be better) and the deep rap..

it often takes time to discover one's own tastes
For many years my friends listened only to rock, and so I did too... and then one day I listened to jazz, and then pop and folk and blues and then foreign music and classical and opera... now my tastes are simply whatever piece of music I enjoy

That great organist exposed you to a new song. Awesome! Even better is that we can get it online.

I too was brought up on classical music: Beethoven, Mozart, Chopin but no thank you to Brahms, pop-music or jazz...later I too rebelled. Enjoy your afternoon music. Thank you for your visit.

One really is growing up when you don't care what other people think
you just know what you enjoy and go with it. It's the people who try to impose their taste on everyone else that have the problems. You sound so happy. I am so glad.

Yes, my Aunt would gift us with her organ music --- and at times I would get so restless but, I did enjoy her joy while she played. I am listening to this beautiful, stirring music and it's fantastic ~ Uplifting - and I thank you for sharing this. Have a beautiful Sunday~ Elyse
