Love one another as thyself is such a powerful message! I strive for it but fall woefully short! There are some folks who make it a point to get under other's skin! I need to work on this more, but I tell you, it is difficult! Thank goodness for the Lord to aid us in our shortcomings! This is another outstanding poem with emphasis on such a universal message, it can move like the wind on a summer day! You are doing so very well with your poetry and I am so proud of you! I like how you are letting it happen without forcing for the sake of writing a poem! KUDOS!!! sam

Nailed it!
I like that approach to the second greatest commandment! Seeing yourself is others. Or, but for the grace of God, there go I. Awesome writing!

SSB says doubt is death. Doubt could have destroyed the apostle but, because of faith restored, he became Thomas the Believer, taking the message of Jesus to Kerala and beyond.
Faith is very breath of Seva; doubt is death. Sai Baba SSV vol IX p 13
As the saying goes,’ Like the mole in the eye, the stone in the shoe, the thorn in the foot, the faction in the home; is this doubt in the brain’. When such doubts assail Arjuna, who
is the representative Man, it means they are Humanity’s own doubts. They can be solved only by Madhava who is beyond and above Humanity. Sai Baba GV-P61
This doubt is truly a component of the Raakshasa (demonic) nature, for it eats into the vitals of Bhakthi. It clips the wings of joy, it dampens enthusiasm, it tarnishes hope. Such men cannot attain the goal even at the end of a thousand births. SSB
Do not vacillate and change Name and Form The thirst has to be like that of the creeper for the tree-trunk, of the magnet for the iron, of the bee for the flower, of the waters for a fall, of the river for the sea. The pangs of separation must gnaw the heart; the entire being must yearn for union. Do not vacillate or change or try a series of Naama and Ruupa (Name and Form). That will only fritter away time and energy. Ceaseless contemplation of the Lord will give ceaseless taste of Amritha to you. If you do not follow this path, you are doubly to blame; for you have contacted Me. The Form usually creates doubts, for when only the Name is there, you can build around it all your fancies, all that you want, to complete the picture. Do not be misled by such doubts when the Form has come before you; make the moment useful, the life worthwhile.

Hi Shobs
Why Shobs, don't you know that I know that you see good in all things?

"Tongues in trees, books in the running brooks, and good in everything" As You Like It. I am yet to learn so many things.

Absolutely stunning abanerjee - this gift of seeing good in others as well as in ourselves actually give rise to more giving of the good. (I hope you know what I mean here) Each time you delve into the weakness or the bad traits of another - you only consume the unhealthy. Just why not see the good in every one..

Darson
Poetry, you know Darson, I am new on the job, encouraged by many - sam, elyse, shobana, shamasehar, and so many others ... so it does bring me warmth of feelings to learn that my effort is appreciated by even the likes of you (great ones I mean

). It was in his non-condemnation - impossible for us commoners in the face of small adversities - that cataputs Him to the pinnacle godhood. He would never have been a god-intoxicated man had He, which He easily could, lay a curse on those guilty. Another thing I find this in line with Gandhian thoughts: hate the sin and not the sinner (they are ignorant). Thanks a ton, Darson.

I feel somewhat shy when you call me wise and feel glad too at the same time, but my poetry comes with effort not as naturally as they come to you great ones. But this is a new language for me I find quite exciting for the time being, more than my prose writing. They are two different mediums. So know it I am blessed by your blessings. What is surprising about Trust is that we go on doubting everything and everyone but ourselves, Strange! One doesn't doubt one's doubt. The day I feel I could be wrong in my assesssment, we take a paradigm shift from doubt to trust. Thank you no ends

'Forgive them, for they know not what they do'...He was aware of our ignorance, and didn't condemn us for it. What a great post, and what a great point that you are making, abanerjee.

Dear Aba, I was just getting off and saw your post here --- TRUST ~ that's one of the hardest...and I love how you brought it all down to: "
In God’s godliness we trust, pray it becomes for ours to take"
You are astoundingly wise for your youth - ~ I am blessed by your humble and yes, deep cry. Touched me *and yes, I believe Doubt is the Original Sin
