I don't want you to cancel your subscription for purely selfish reasons Azur. When you post a complimentary comment on one of my posts it lifts my spirits to know that a professional author likes my writing.
Your post isn't whiney. Lots of us are in the same position, and I understand why you may have to cancel. We can't afford to run a cellphone, and we are possibly going to have to cancel our gym membership for 6 months. Bereavement can bring monetary relief, Azur, but don't feel guilty about it. The deceased person would be pleased to know that their death would help.
I do hope your dreams, talents, and hard graft come to fruition. All the best lass.

These are the times that try men's souls (and women's too). Decisions are so much more difficult to make when there is a shortage of money. It is sad to even think of you not being here in some way, silent or otherwise.

I am here for you if you ever want to chat, I miss talking with you....my email is symphonyshyness@aol.com or you can always find me on facebook, I share a lot of my world and photos on there with my friends and family and I class you as my friends and family!! we must have so much to catch up with as we have lost contact...I think I have only been here 5 times in two years which is quite bad.....must make more effort to write and to keep in contact no matter how busy I get....take care and all the best, miss you.

What's improving your writing is the daily work on it.
I recommend a book called "The Outliers" by Malcolm Gladwell -- you may be able to find it at the library. He talks thoughtfully about success and what leads to it, very insightful. Whether you write here or elsewhere, just write. There'll always be ups and downs with money where art is concerned. I'd miss your comments, your lovely work, but whether or not it's in this forum, I always, always want you to express your gift. Write on!

Azur, your writing is so goood that your predicament is so brilliantly
coming through. You don't wanna leave but u have to cos of financial constraints. and then again, but it's not all that much money cos i'm an old subscriber. and then comparing it with other sites that u can't afford to leave. Oh, it's so real. Am with u. But of course, if wishes were horses.....would love to have you continue out here.

wish you would stay and continue...But I do understand that the financial side of things needs to be considered first. And if you must leave, I wish you all the best and huge success with your book...
