A reversal of the old "What goes up, must come down" thing, is it? The technicolor description was interesting - I've never heard that one before. You once again used humor to tell about something that, in reality, is not so pleasant. And, also once again, you do a magnificent job of it!

Oh dear Darson...I'm getting back from out of town with a dreadful case of cold/allergy suffering and you - you are ill with the stomach flu?  I hate to wretch - absolutely abhor that feeling so I send you big big prayers for better soon because I cannot stomach the whole idea.  Bless your sweet littleness...and be sure to drink fluids when you can.  I hope all is well.  Elyse

Very entertaining!!  It reminded me of a famous scene in an old Aussie movie where, on board a plane, when no-one's looking a guy puts some potato salad in his mouth, then makes a big song and dance about vomiting into the airline's paper bag, only for him then to pull out a spoon, and eat the "vomit" back out of the paper bag, to the horror of those around him...  Michael

Thank you for the well-wishes, Lady! Yes, I'd have to agree, it would be a toss up as to which would be worse. Both issues are not a good time.

Mister, I get the feeling you are an amazing chef. That actually sounds pretty good with the spinach; regardless of the story that accompanied it...! Send some more cooking ideas along...I am ready to hit the kitchen. Guess that means the old appetite's back. I must be recovered. Well, that's good....!

I hope you're feeeling better by now. I remember a picture my Mom took when I was three, after spewing what I think was spinach...But I have given up the habit! I actually like spinach now, raw, with strawberries and a sprinkling of olive oil and balsamic vinegar...

Oh, God, Darson...Poor you!  The flu, maybe?  I literally lost my ability to vomit years ago...except for the night of my knee surgery...Morphine didn't stay down long...because my stomach muscels are too tight to let it pass.

Unfortunately, I still get the urge, which is just as if not more painful.

Hope you feel better tomorrow...
