- Go to My laptop died - twice!
that is a common issue with laptops
especially if the are on your lap or on soft furnishings - all the vents get blocked and it overheats.

Notebooks!
Love the portability, hate the power distribution. I have only had one that did not overheat. A cooling pad is a must.

Gathering from what the result ended up being that's a great tactic your husband had. I'll have to keep that in mind when those mysterious shut offs occur.

So this bargaining with God....are you now fulfilling your side of the
bargain and backing up files and putting them onto the key thingies. ...or since Ed had such good advice, has God been swept from the mind?LOL Of course I am thrilled with the miracle of the resurrection and wish you well with the rest of the write. xkxkxkxkxkx such a dear you are.

I hate when that happens
I do that a lot and have become adapt at recovering most of my files except when Rosie sits on the key board when she wants attention. I glad you had a resurrection.

Ah!!! Resurrection and the Life of the laptop ~

--- holey moley but this certainly is cute. I wonder if in fact the battery is dying - that happened to a couple of my older laptops and it would quirk like this...another time it was just a simple slice in the cable and wasn't allowing full power to come through. Whatever it may be I am glad you finally got back on to write ~ I so enjoy your blogs - Elyse
