Your exquisite poetry usually reminds me of different parts of my own life.
".......I wait here, touching mirrors, a fugitive from time
suddenly thrown in a world where nothing is mine,
alone walking where the snow is black,
with my night ration and my mourning watch
marking the minutes that I am on the run
escaping from the sadness of knowing you are gone........"

Tears falliing. So touching and so wonderfully described of the journey you take when your loved one;s eyes are empty. I don't know if you would be interested but I received an invitation to enter the 2010 National Amateur Poety Competition sponsored by Eber and Wein Publishing. The grand prize is 2ooo.00 dollars. Rules are to send an origianal poem in any style and on any topic. The poem must be neatly hand written or typed .on a single sheet of paper and cannot exceed 26 lines in length including stanza break. The deadline is April 30,2010. You can request an entry form and return it along with poem in self addressed envelop provided. To request a form the adress is Poetry Contest, 244 5th Avenue Suite 1900 New York, NY 100061.
