what a beautiful poem
Such romance is wonderful to see.  I don't do Valentines day either, I feel that having a day to be romantic on gives tacit permission to be unromantic on all of the others...

Fabulous poem, Malcolm, and what a wonderful unexpected gesture for Susan. I bet she was bowled over.

Great post.  I loved it.  It reminds me of when my Mom & Dad used to write each other poems even in their eighties.  They were so sweet and cute and witty.

A very romantic poem you have provided us...My parents were never much on Valentine's Day when they were together. Dad would just buy Mom some flowers. He still does that.

That is a wonderful poem! And I adore how you two celebrate! It is an excellent way for me! You should think about writing more poetry! Very well conceived! sam
