Like most, who enjoy reading of your travel exploits, I am a bit jealous.
Ms Cohen,
I will never be able to scratch my "travel itch," as you are able to do, but if I could, my enjoyment would be in the viewing and photographing of the natural splendor of the places I would be visiting. If this was my profession, an assignment, a duty, I think that I would always be yearning to spend my time far differently, and without the structured and choreographed itinerary, given to me by my employer. I will always cherish the memory of those people I have met, in my few cross-country jaunts, and the stunning scenery of our western mountain states, but if I had been assigned to do so, with a set timeline, and as my job, I know that I'd have missed out on SO much. Like much else in life, I would prefer to do things MY WAY! I would hate to come to dread traveling and I am sure that I would, if it was my job, and I know that it would cheapen the whole experience for me, eventually.

Travelling around checking out hotels is something I should get into - sounds like a fun gig, LOL! And I can see you and Vogue had a great time in NY - I would have been tempted to grab that 800 thou bauble and run!
I knew Woody plays the clarinet - I didn't know he plays the saxophone as well...he's a man with amazing talent...
And thanks for your long comment in 'View' - I'll probably write a response post tomorrow...

I wanted sooooooooo much to be with you to but I don't have the clothes or
the cash these days for such an up market jaunt. I knew Vogue is as delightful as she sounds and I miss her so from Blogit. She was half a mind tocome see us but the cold and the isolation would have driven her crazy.
Letsall meet in Sydney later in the year and I can show you the best spots. ...and where you can shop......but I must say I am more of an $80.00 or even an $8.00 bauble gal. LOL
I MISSED YOU. and Happy Valentine.
