This reminded me of.....
almost heaven west virginia
blue ridge mountains shenandoah river
life is old there
older than the trees
younger than the mountains
growing like a breeze
country roads take me home
to the place i belong
west virginia mountain mama.
Take me home, country roads.
Country roads, take me home,
To the place, I belong,
West Virginia, mountain mama.
Take me home, country roads.
I hear her voice, in the mornin' hour she calls me
The radio reminds me of my home far away.
And driving down the road I get a feeling
That I should have been home yesterday,
Yesterday.
Country roads, take me home,
To the place, I belong,
West Virginia, mountain mama.
Take me home, country roads.
Country roads, take me...

God's unmistakable stamp is everywhere to be seen in the opulence in Nature and in His creations, but for that as you rightly say, a heart full of sensitivity is required - self-esteem, regard for others, as one's own, self-respect. Nice poem!

This is as a postcard, no more - like a painting - I want to touch it and feel exactly what you see- and I think I've come pretty close. This is a stunning write, Ash - please let us know more - and I pray - I believe you are having a wonderful time. We are all equal in God's eyes, I believe this. El

Ash - I can imagine how lovely the Malabar Coast looks as it outlines the state of my ancestors :) - Kerala. Wonderful poem and it's true though oceans apart, it's the same everywhere. Enjoy yourself and if you stop over at Kerala, Ernakulam has the most beautiful girls there and go to Kovalam Beach to relax with full ayurvedic pampering :)

Wrote this on-board my flight from the vibrant city of Mumbai...
along the picturesque Malabar Coast, to the peaceful, lush green state of Kerala on the South-western coast of India. Enjoy :)!! - Ash
