Elyse!
We are two of a kind, that's for sure. People are so fascinating. Half the reason I leave my house is just to watch more of them. I saw such sweet souls at the coffee shoppe, too. That was my consensus, right before I got the infamous phone call....that there is an awful lot of love and pure friendship out there. It was almost sacred to watch how much everyone was enjoying each other's company.

I love it --- giving me permission to eavesdrop --- ROTFLOL ~ ah but as you, the things we can learn from other's conversations; like the time this 'nighty night' club was gathering and I overheard...

--- LOL, seriously, I'm teasing you - you're just too cute Darson. I like this idea because I have a tendency to 'listen' especially when the voices are carrying. Elyse

I know; I've often wondered which I love best....gabbing to my heart's content, or observing....I think I'd have to say observing. I only wish I could be invisible whilst I was doing it, though, so I wouldn't appear to be uninterested or unfriendly....I can't talk and observe well at the same time...

Oh yes those, the people you mean, they are full of fluff and stone; they even rattle strangely.

People are...
so very interesting! I used to have a friend who would look at the actions of people around him and he would say, "People are the strangest kind!" The older I get the more I think I understand what he meant. Keep Looking Up! Dan

THAT is fascinating...! I've never thought of actually recording it...just enjoyed the energetic conversations (caffiene-invoked) for the moment, and then forgot about them. What a treasure to hold onto those!

Overhear Over There
So true. I got the idea for my second book by overhearing a conversation on a city bus. I added bits of my own life experiences to it and made a whole book.

Yes, yes, I've done the coffee-shop thing. I always take along a pad and pen. I've even written poems in restaurants inspired by conversations of groups who get loud forgetting that they are not alone in the place (or not caring). LOL
