Azur
Tou make some very interesting points. And reflecting on them, it strikes me that much of our lives are spent doing 'non-important' things...And I really like the idea of writing a resume for an aspiring Russian spy - that alone could be the beginning for a book...
Oh, and I have replied to your suggestion in my blog...

Actually this sums up wfor me why I first gave up full time nursing
and then finally, part time. One must be giving their best to what they are doing. When you know that is not happening,it is time to review which I can see you are very aware of.

Thank you for reminding me of good and great work.
I was beginning with good things and need to go right to the great, as time is short.
I actually have a deadline and competition who will swallow up all available business as he is just a lean mean GREAT working machine. He wastes little time on good things, no time, now, I'm sure.
Okay, I love you and think of you even when away from this machine, but must step away myself to steal some of his glory at the next trade show, from my lips to you know who's ears.
But, I must also, like you, do some things which pay the huge pile of bills, HA !
God help us all.
A prayer to Yemanja' for all of us mothers..........

Little blips of insight keep filtering to me
from someone unrelated to me. Yesterday an economics expert said in an interview on NPR that college grads during this recession will likely have to take lesser jobs than they would have in better times. Then he said, it's too bad, because these graduates will never make up this starting deficit. The ones who graduated a couple years ago at a higher salary will always keep moving ahead of them, they'll have more confidence, they'll do better because they got a better start.
And I thought about the jobs I'd had to take, and how "they" had promoted my trainees ahead of me, and understood how right this expert was. Also, that it's not just me.

You share some insight here as to how to not let overdo kill us - no matter how good we are at something. and I hope you earn well from your aspiring to achieve. You are very determined and dedicated. I admire that Azur ~ Elyse

This one had me thinking, too! I think I do a lot of good work and let the great work slip by! You are a survivor and I know you will get to the great! Love the idea of a daily walk to think! I like to ride, though! sam
