He wonders why this feels emotionally
smoother than the fondled breast.
All seems clear; a quest feels safer than the light
that parts the warmth that he still needs to touch.
How true of human nature! More fine imagery throughout as well! sam

The green man - I've always wanted to put one of the faces on my trees but (like the silk worm - they dangle from my oaks at times --- ewwie dance for me) I'm afraid it may 'scare me' in my walks at night sometimes (an owl has flown by me in great speed - one night and it scared me back in the house quicker than my feet could think )

~ this reminds me of Spring - new birth - and all it shall bring ~ and I don't think there is a 'green woman' ~ or I've not seen one. I loved this poem ~ this is great!!! E.L.
