How cool this write ~ "eye spy" --- I just love the imagery in all your poetry - (yum cream bun) - and the description at the end:
"And the Captain bowed as he,
kissed the deadly gun-hand
of Miss Matilda Vee. "
I tell you 'til the end, you had me savoring the end of this sailing ~ E.L.

Corncrake - How cleverly you have related this story. I enjoyed reading it. Thank you so much for your comment in my blog. All my siblings take turns to look after my dad and I say I'm his favorite. But my sisters think otherwise. He is so frail now, just so skinny. He was in the hospital for a few days for blood transfusion and some more tests and I was with him. I really want him to be around for my girls' graduation and all their special moments . Thank you once again.
