Ditto to you, as well, RSP...bravo. If more of us believed in this, there wouldn't be the need for quite so many therapists in this world...or anti-depressants, or.....I could go on and on...

I wanted to stand up and applaud after reading this. Finally, a man that 'gets it'. What a rare thing in this world today. Where would we be without good mothers, willing to sacrifice glamour and a career to do the most important work of all; that of raising good, responsible sons and daughters. Bravo, Chuck, bravo. You are a breath of fresh air.

I agree, FSI. I think there is a lot to be said for it, in fact. It's where the heart is, much as some try to deny it.

Sure women have gained prestigious jobs and fabulous careers, but in return they lost the empire called home. Time is moving so fast and the working women can't gain back what they lost. Since the cost of living has become so expensive and one income became not sufficient for the family. It became very sad for the working women no matter how successful they are at what they do. I have a lot of respect for the working woman. It sure takes lots of sacrifice on their part. But I would rather work more time to make sure I provide the best life for my spouse. Very nice subject to discuss in a poem

Thanks for sharing. Chuck.
