FSI, those winter mornings curled up in a blankie are worth double days in
June, IMO...

Snow days raise havoc with the school calendar! Students need so many hours of instruction per school year and that is one of the reasons the time needs to be made up! I have been out of the business for a few years but our district would lose state and federal dollars if we did not meet the required days of instruction! I know he is disappointed, but I would much rather see it made up now as opposed to the end of the year when kids are burned out and not much teaching wold occur! This has the chance to be quality instruction time! sam

Making up days shouldn't be part of the curriculum...they should
just double up on home work and class time and be done with it.
