awww keep the battery charging Azur by jiggling the wires now and then...you see, you are so dear and a loving companion - He is in the fog himself and can't see for the fog - you may be the one to lead him out - and that's not to put responsibility at all on you but, your compassion is real and I read it here - I am touched by it. Your compassion is at least reaching out to help guide him out of some pain and trauma. It may take time but, I believe you are 'patient' just very very sad and weary from it. God bless you much ~ Elyse

It is a difficult situation when your own clarity of vision
can see things he is not yet willing to look at.

the fog sounds difficult and a bit dangerous - always the risk of an accident in the fog. But never so bad in daylight, or with really bright car lights, and it doesn't sound as if it's freezing fog, which is infinitely worse. Thinking of you.

It has to be so difficult! Seeing someone not caring for themselves and how it affects those around them! A journey indeed and I so agree, it is far easier to see with the headlights! sam

this is a great way to look at everything you do, writing a novel
living a life, taking a journey, planing the tomorrow, living the today...etc, this is really a description of the best way to live your life. in the moment, in the limited vision that we are always given...great post, great insight

Love the fog metaphor. And the direct approach.
Thanks for your comments on the last couple of my baby blogs. They balanced some things for me.

Nice thing to have in a fog... a compass.
Or a reeeeeealy long periscope.
I think that's why so many people stick to religion successfully. Whether or not the supernormal aspects are correct, belief in a moral framework and a system proposing a means to keep oneself and loved ones safe can do a lot for peace of mind.
Not that I'm religious by any means.

One needs patience to be a novel writer. It takes time to build up that book.
