Oh good, I'll take this to heart---if I ever finish reading all of this wisdom. I must tell you that my first post for planer eye met with the editor's approval. i was sweating bullets, but now I am more confident that I can cut it.

Gracious sakes . . . a veritable font of good advice/sarcasm/humor/fun/tips! I think I hit most all of your 'don't's'. I got a real chuckle and old school memories from these; often I chuckle at the advice of spell-check and auto-edit software, too. Seriously, seems that 'how-to-write-good' is the farthest thing from most text we read--whether now-passe` or not. I don't chuckle over that.
