THE BLISTER THAT STOLE MY RIGHT HAND WRITING
I see you've had some uncaring hospital treatment too. I once had a burn that went from my thigh to my knee and it went straight through to the bone the skin just sloughed off and it was very painful so I can imagine what you went through. My leg is fine now can't see anything but the memory is there, like your memory. Brave person that you are.

Oh, I can't even imagine. Your attitude was fantastic...I'm moved by your strength.

I'm already a leftie, but a rightie???...

that's another story. Your quite the writer, and as I see an awesome reader too. I know that's what it takes. I'll keep reading... and plan to read your current posts.

What a story! And what a brave little girl, enduring all that pain. Glad the words managed to dance on paper - and love reading about it.

I could almost feel this story as you told it. My right arm feels weird
even "as we speak." It is fun to write backwards with the left hand. Funny how that works.

My Goodness...
These days we are taught to NEVER put ANYTHING on a burn or when you get to the ER they might have to "scrub" it off of your skin.
How painful that would be, and thank God you didn't have to endure that too after your mother put that oil on it.

I had a fracture that stole my right foot kicking. When I was in first grade, I got hit by a truck (I ran out in front of it), and sustained a badly fractured right leg. After that I could never kick the kickball with my right foot and became a left-foot kickball player.

What a terrible outcome to be scarred for life! But I thought it was so wonderful that you made a commitment to write with your left hand and wrote about so many things to being the healing! I think that takes a lot of drive and determination, too!
Also here is a link for Pt. 9
Happy Easter, too! sam

That's impressive that you were able to change hands because of that! I would not know what I would have done.

Tzippy!!! I am also ambidextrous because as a little girl they used to tie my left hand to my back so that I had to use the right one. Back then in Europe they consider left writing bad for some reason loll... Great story my friend. xoxoxo
