Rocking - I hope you had a beautiful Easter. Interesting how you know so far ahead about funerals. In the Jewish religion, we usual bury the dead within 24 hours, though it's ok to wait up to two or even three days if family is out of town. I know what you mean about the vibes from funerals - there was a time a few years ago when I was going to one Shiva call (the 7 days of mourning after the funeral that you share with the bereaved - like a Wake after the fact) after another and I was so emotionally drained. Hope the weddings help brighten the mood!! Mal

Easter is at least a little bit about families and chocolate...
I hope the joys of Spring help disperse the melancholy of the funerals for you

I think a weeding would bring in new perspective after difficult funerals! Happy Easter! The churches tend to fill on Easter in the States, too! sam

Sorry to hear that the Easter holiday will be tempered with sadness this year, Rocking. Still, take peace in knowing they are now with the Lord. Enjoy your wedding! Happy Easter to you and your family. Enjoy all that chocolate!

One's faith would help ease the death of loved one this time of year
It certainly brings home the knowledge that they have crossed to a better place. I pray that they can sustain this knowledge in their months of lonliness ahead to ease their pain.
