I think of Israel as a small world full of cultured people mostly with a
European heritage. I know in Sydney it is the Jewish community we have to thank for the amount of culture that one can enjoy. The Opera's and ballet and musicals and plays and fine artists....all introduced and patronised so well by people who eeds with them and who came to Australia bringing cultured imformed needs with them so that we really do have sophisticated cities these days.
